Encouragement to those labeled "Super Saved"

Today Encouragement goes out to the people who have been labeled "Super Saved":
Listen, people are always going to have something to say about you rather good or bad. Know who you are and know whose you are! Live balanced, but by all means living balanced doesn't involve living carnal in any way! Living balanced means understanding that nothing comes into the natural without first being manifested in the spiritual realm. Living balance is recognizing that you're Spirit Man is superior than your physical man and the physical man must be under subjection to the Spirit Man. Not the other way around. Living balanced is understanding Matthew 4:4 says  we don't live by bread alone, but by every word that comes out of the mouth of God. Living balanced recognizes that we have to be so connected to God that we don't miss one word coming out of His mouth. It also means that we are able to comprehend what He is saying and we are able to apply what God is speaking. We are also led by God because He speaks to us the plan for our life. Living Balanced means that we are the Salt and the Light of the Earth. We are effective and efficient for the Kingdom of God! We have to be up to date with what is happening in the World so that we maybe able to bring new believers into the Kingdom of God. We understand that what worked in 1970 will not work in 2012.We do not partake in the world's way of doing things. We don't have to, because we are  attached to the Creator. We have endless means of creativity and innovation.

Do not let people entice you to go the other way just because they are not on your level. The bible says when we search for God with our whole heart that's when we will find Him. This means things have to be given up; nothing matters more to us than seeking God. He comes first.  The disciples asked Jesus why he spoke in parables to the people. Jesus said that He spoke that way so that those who really wanted to know would unravel the truth for themselves. A parable is simply a way of telling a story about the truth but its hidden in the story. Its up to the listener to find the treasure in the story.  So why were the disciples privilege to the truth? They had given up careers, left families to become students of Jesus Christ. Walking with Jesus isn't free, it cost something. We are all supposed to become students of Jesus Christ just like the disciples were. Upon there training they moved from "student"(disciple) to  "sent ones" (Apostles), going out to make more disciples (students). We can't study the Savior and remain the same. We are to grow and develop. Some people will never understand this. Some people are spiritually blinded to this process. Further down in the text Jesus tells the disciple: "Through seeing, they do not see; Through hearing, they do not hear or understand" (Matthew 13:13). We will only understand God to the level of our thirst for him. So don't get discouraged when you hear people labeling you.


 Satan's strategies to keep us from being victorious is to keep us flesh focused. We can't get to the things of the Spirit when we are bound to our flesh. We want power, but power comes from fasting and praying and spending countless hours with God. It's amazing that it took seconds for Jesus to heal people, and cast our demons; however he spent hours praying to the Father. So keep pressing toward Christ, live out every Word. Pray for those who misuse you and talk about you! The spiritual man knows that at all time there are two kingdoms at war and they never stop waring just because we are sleep, partying, praying, or whatever. This is why the Word of God reminds us to be self controlled and alert, because the enemy is on the prowl looking to devour who he can... The only way he can is when we are not walking in the Spirit.

At some point in time those that made fun of you will see you operating from another dimension while they are still struggling with the flesh. Jesus said that He was leaving and that those that believed would do greater things than He did. I assure you those things will only get done by continuously seeking Him as He did the Father. Live your life, never mind the nay-sayers! Listen for the voice of God and let Him lead you to your destiny!

Roman 8:6 For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.

1Cor 2:14 The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.

Tracing God's Hand in our Lives- Adjust your Focus

Many times it seems that we can't trace God's hand or see Him at work in our lives, especially when it choatic and cluttered with drama.  We pray earnestly for God to work on our behalf for so many things. We pray diligently over and over again over the larger & immediate things in which we need done. While the smaller, not so immediate issues gets prayed for once or twice and we keep it moving.

I want to encourage you today!

 There has been many large issues that needed God's immediate attention in my life. I've prayed till the brakes have fell of my prayer mobile, if you get my drift.  However two months ago there was an issue I was having with my 4 year old daughter at school. She has a short attention span, however smart as whip but only applies herself when  she is forced to do something  She wan't applying herself on writing her name.  Her teacher brought it to my attention that if we didn't get her to focus on doing that, she wouldn't be able to enter Kindergarten. So of course I up my time spent working with her. I hired my cousin to tutor her and the rest of my kids so she wouldn't feel like she was doing something wrong. Lastly, I prayed over her and asked God to quicken her attention span and work ethic for learning in school.

Today, I was dropping my kids off to school and noticed something all together different about my daughter. Every morning I send her to wash her hands by herself, hang up her belonging and walk in to class to sign her name. I send her by herself so that I can accompany my son to do the same things. I have been doing this consistently for  about the same amount of time that I have known about the writing issue.

This morning I was coming out of  my son's class to go sign her in and she was walking out the bathroom headed to hang her things up. For the first time, I saw my daughter in the light of being responsible and I didn't realize that I trusted her to do  what I had been asking her to do. I stood off to the side and just smiled at my baby being a big girl. I walked up to her and asked her to give me five for being a big girl. We walked into class I was signing her in and she walked over to sign her name. Without my assistance, and even in all the commotion of people saying good morning to her she wrote her full name and it was in the right size for the box and readable. Her teacher then said, "Mrs. Jones, Dionne is doing excellent!" I walked out of her class to my car, just realizing how I had forgotten that I had petitioned God's help with this area and just that moment I was able to trace God's hand at work for me.

It's very easy to allow the large things to overshadow the smaller things that are not so immediate in our lives. However I learned a valuable lesson today. As sure as I was that God was going to do what I needed for my daughter, I need to be just as sure for the larger things.  It's hard to trace God hands when we aren't looking in the right places. Blessings and Miracles are bestowed upon us daily and many times we don't see them because we are  focused on the things that have yet to be done and may possibly seem to be impossilble.


I just want to encourage you to keep your ears and eyes open. God never stops working, and His hand never stops moving. If we can't see Him moving & and answering prayers in our lives then just maybe we are focused on the wrong stuff. When driving we are taught to never stay focused on one thing too long, if we plan to make it to our destination safely. As such, is the same for the things in our personal lives. Take a glance at your problems and situations, adjust what you can, change what you can and trust that God heard you and has already begun executing a plan for your rescue. The big issues may still be big issues, however if the little issues are being worked on its only a matter of time before God begans to answers our major prayer requests.  Keep in mind the big issues more than likely didn't become a big issue overnight, therefore the response and solution may not be done overnight either. Hang in there, and don't give up. Help is on the way.

Daniel's Fast- Day 4

So I didn't write yesterday because I really didn't have the time to do so. I got two out of three of my exams done, scoring an A & a B. I had  veggie spaghetti (squash, zucchini, asparagus, onions, green peppers, whole wheat pasta and all natural spaghetti sauce). I stayed up pretty late study, so I am extra tired  right now. Yesterday's encounter with God was confirmation. I posted a note yesterday, that I had actually wrote on Day 2.  The note is "The Importance of Transparency & Accountability in Ministry". I didn't post it because I had prayed for confirmation to do so first. So yesterday in my Church Ministries Course, my studies were on Confronting Sin and Accountability. HA! What a way to confirm! However that wasn't what did it for me.  I watched the video post that complimented our studies for the week, and every thing I had wrote was everything that was in the video. So I was grateful about  God confirming me.

Any who! As stated above, I am exhausted today. I have spent a great deal of time in the kitchen preparing meals, and a great deal of time praying & meditating. Today, was a challenge for me to stay focused, only because I was so tired and just burnt out. However I got some really great prayer time in. Again I had no strategic plan for what i was praying for. It just kind of came to me by happen stance. Or maybe it was all a plan by God. I received some mail for Church finance seminar. Don't have a clue why it came to me but after looking at it I was compelled to pray for the finances of the church, my household and the members of Wings of Love Ministries.  My morning and evening prayer were in regards to my attitude to serving at home and strength .

Today we had Mushroom and Mash Potato Stuff Bell Peppers w/ some of the left over Chilli . It was pretty good.
